Community

I've been chasing different dreams at different points of my life. Getting into the desired industry takes a lot of hard work and determination. I've always felt like I was in constant competition with the others that we're trying to do the same as I was. I've even walked away from certain goals because the people I was in competition with wanted it more than I did - and who am I to stand in their way? This is why I love country music. I love the industry. Like anything else it's going to take some serious work to get places, but I'm not in competition. This community I'm becoming part of is something that drives you forward. Seeing fellow artists pursue their dreams and move forward step by step is motivating. Everyone supporting each other is so much nicer to see. We all want the best for our friends do we not? And as opposed to other jobs openings, there is room for everyone to be heard. It's just such a nice thought. It really is a great industry and I hope other people feel this way. Let the competition be within yourself to be better. As a community we will all grow better together.
